That's right! But Cananda can still be very proud of the performance of the 'Canes-- most of the players are from Canada, including the Christian, Cam Ward, who hails from Edmonton.
Oh, Canada indeed!

If I had a million dollars....
If I had a million dollars..
I'd buy you a ________ !
Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Sarah McLachlan, Leonard Cohen, Gordon Lightfoot, Diana Krall & Alanis Morissette.
Oh and Rush...
Carol Arends (CCM)
And mapple syrup, the best mapple syrup, oh yeah!
That's Maple, not Mapple. But thanks. And thank YOU, Danielle. Happy Canada Day, indeed.
I should add that I'm impressed that you even know what SCTV and Kids in the Hall are. Kudos.
Thanks for stopping by today and the comment - I really love the "rut," which Brenda called "roots" instead!
Sorry, I still have trouble with double consonants. One of those things about the English language that I might never get. But is Mapple such a bad word that you had to correct me?
Kevin - We have a hockey fan in the house. Cool!
Shenna - If I had a million dollars...I would still eat Kraft mac n' cheese!
Happy - oh yes, these are amazing Canadians!
Robin - no picking on Janine...she's from Brazil. When she speaks the English language, she makes it sound much better than we do! ha!
Kids in the Hall and SCTV...genius!
Dawn - I hear ya!
Janine - who cares how it's spelled...as long as it's accompanied by PANCAKES!!!
Thanks! :)
