my week started rocky, but I am hoping that praising God will force me to take attention off of myself and my own frustrations.

It's easier for me to praise in good times ..it's a lot harder for me to sing praise in difficult times..
And it's a blessing to read the praises from others when I have nothing left in me to lift up my voice..

Glad especially of somethings that happened over the weekend that you put out this call to praise. #1 sometimes it's just easier to complain and not wanting that to be an option, just a bit of praise turns to it pouring out.
Really no #2.....praising Him is producing in me an attitude of gratitude....just love the whole of it...even when I was away from the computer and in 'stuff', my heart and mind were colliding in just Praise Him...so good and THANK YOU
God has blessed me with something amazingly incredible..so I am good, girl...
p.s....I love my son, too!
I am really loving this 40 days of praise! I am now going about my day looking for blessings and not focusing on the negative. I love it!
I'm with Crissi. It's the highlight of my day to think back and pick out the thing that turned my thoughts towards God.
I'm with all of you...when I began to turn my focus to praising God and worshiping Him, many of my frustrations went by the wayside. I felt peace, even though I'm facing a few challenges lately m'self.
I am praying for all the "Praisers" during this time. What a journey!
struggling. it's so hard to take the time with such a busy, hectic, summer schedule.
and i can't get near my computer with 2 teens in the house!! Ah!
but, when i think of it, i'm praising, right along with the rest of you!

Shenna-girl, hang in there! I feel your pain! My son is out of school. I'm blogging at 7am before going to work, he's still awake from the night before. heehee Oh to be a teenager during summer again!
It's going well. Some days, I can think of a million things to praise God for and I have trouble picking just one, and then other days (like today) I struggle to think of something. I'm really enjoying it though! It gives everything such a positive outlook.
