FIREWORKS
It's 2am here in California and I can't sleep. Okay, let me back up and say that I fell asleep...but then I woke up at 1am.
This is the best part about being single. You do whatever you want.
For example, sometimes I fall asleep in my living room. My old roommate used to ask me why I did that.
Because I can.
I really never had any other reason than that.
It's 2am and eggs with avocados and pomegranate tea sound good to me. It's 2am and Modern British Poetry and the Black Eyed Peas sound good too. It's 2am and there are now clothes in the dryer. It's 2am and I'm a child of God loving Him tonight. Errh, this morning. Errh, whatever...
It's 2am and somewhere, I imagine...
...fireworks are going off.

Yes... doing what you want is one of the nicest things about being single. I used to love sleeping on the couch, but now I have a husband and baby who want my company in bed, so the couch is abandoned at bedtime :). I hope you are sleeping comfortably as I write this.

What a delightful, fun post! Because you can! Makes me smile. I've been doing this too at times; sleeping with my clothes on, not doing dishes for two days if I feel like it, putting lots of dried up willow branches in the living room just cuz I like their shadows. When our companion is the Lord, amazing how He does not complain about our chewing ice, or talking on the phone with friends...He's right their in it with us!
haha... no fireworks here - but if I was awake at 2am I think eggs and avocados would be a fine pig-out.
Eggs and avocados? That is so California.
And mabye 10 yrs ago fireworks went off at that time of the morning, but now they go off before you fall asleep! ;)

Yes, it is indeed nice to be able to do what I want, to decorate, to travel, to shop, without needing someone else's permission. Hum, now I know what I am going to tell people when they ask me why I bought six pairs of shoes in Brazil: cause I can!
