REST IN HIM

By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Gen 2:2

My body resting
Heart rising

Happy Sabbath

Happy Sabbath to you too. I'm still in transition - can't wait to be settled! Today I am trying to take a Sabbath from worry!

I was thinking all day Sunday about how people just tear around and do not take a Sabbath rest, ever. They make a religion of their work, shopping, recreation. I so need the Sabbath!

A Silent day. A day without distraction.
A day I choose to turn off my phones - turn off my computer - turn off all outside noises.
A day I hear a small voice deep within my soul.
A day I hear a deep cry in my heart.
A day I taste joy.
A day I face my Lord in my own silence..
Thank you my Lord for your commandment of having Sabbaths in our life.
